Debt Advice Caseworker
With offices in Grantham, Spalding and Stamford, plus outreach centres across the region, we support a population of 225,000 people. Last year, we helped 14,000 clients with 60,000 issues and secured over £7 million of additional income for them. We are here for everyone to help people move on with their lives.
We are seeking a Debt Advice Caseworker to join our team and deliver quality advice and ongoing casework to clients who are experiencing consumer related debt (with a focus on energy debt).
This will involve handling inbound calls from clients seeking help with their debts within agreed timescales and booking advice/casework appointments where appropriate and supporting clients in a professional manner and with sensitivity and confidentiality to their situation. You will assist clients with identifying areas where clients could maximise income or minimise expenditure and explore options and their implications with clients to help them make fully informed decisions.
Full training will be provided.
Location: Spalding or Grantham
Salary: £26,500 fte starting salary, rising to £27,070 fte.
Hours: 37 per week
Annual Leave: 25 days per annum plus bank holidays, increasing by one day per year of service (up to a maximum of five additional days) plus three days off between Christmas and New Year
